Voici l'une des plus belle voiture de l'histoire de l'automobile:

1964 - 1966 : En 1964, la Mustang est proposée sous forme d'une décapotable et d'un hard-top. Le tableau de bord est le même que celui de la Falcon. En 1965 arrive le célèbre coupé Fastback. Il se distingue des autres versions de la Mustang grâce à son arrière plongeant. Avec son V8 230 chevaux, elle n'a pas grand chose à envier aux autres versions. Un kit "GT" fait son apparition. Il comprend une suspension renforcée, un double échappement, une direction plus directe, des freins à disques à l'avant, des bandes latérales de décorations, des feux de route dans la calandre et un tableau de bord à 5 cadrans. En 1966, de petites modifications esthétiques font leur apparition, notamment au niveau de la calandre et du tableau de bord. En deux ans, le design général n'a pas fondamentalement changé. Côté moteur, en 1964, la Mustang est dotée d'un 6 cylindres, pour arriver à un V8 271 pour la version la plus sportive en 1966.
